Most team days are forgettable. Most hens days blur into each other. Most community events are the same three things in a different order.
This is not that.
I’m Donna. I run hands-on workshops across Western Australia; sourdough, preserving, lip balm making, soap and more. I come to you. You sort the group and the space, I bring absolutely everything else.
Two hours later, every woman in the room has watched it happen from start to finish, tasted the result, and asked every question she was too embarrassed to Google. Most of them go home and try it themselves that weekend. Some of them go on to run their own workshops in their own communities.
This is not a cooking class with matching aprons and a perfectly staged kitchen. It’s a real morning, with real skills, from someone who actually lives and bakes and makes in the same conditions you do.

How it works
I arrive with everything needed. Over 90 minutes to 2 hours I’ll walk your group through the basics of sourdough – how it works, why it works, and how to keep it going in a hot (or cold!) regional climates. There’ll be samples to taste, questions answered, and everyone goes home with a dehydrated starter and an 8 page cookbook to get them going at home.
What’s included
- 1.5 to 2 hour sourdough demonstration and tasting
- A selection of sourdough samples — plain, chocolate, and cheddar jalapeno loaves
- Dehydrated sourdough starter to take home
- 8 page sourdough cookbook
- Everything brought by me, you just provide the space
Pricing
$500 flat fee for your group. You decide how many people to invite and what to charge them. Minimum 6 people recommended.
Travel outside Kalgoorlie-Boulder is charged at $1.20 per km return. Accommodation required for overnight travel.
